If your child is having to isolate and is well enough we can provide work through class dojo or a paper pack upon request.
Should your child need remote learning from home, the learning will now all come via dojo which you all have logins for. If you have any problems with accessing dojo, please contact us straight away so we can fix this and no learning time is lost.
It is our intention to ensure any learning at home should match as closely as possible what would / is delivered in school. Teachers will provide learning as outlined below. This will be sufficient to fill at least 3-4 hours, depending on your child's age but please make this work to best suit your situation at home. It is however important to keep a structure or routine to the week, as children will find this easier to engage with.
Remember children will learn best when their mental well-being is strong. If you have any concerns, please contact your child's teacher.
Teachers will be reviewing children's work and giving feedback regularly, as they would in school. This will mostly be given through the dojo app.
The Department for Education have supplied us with a very small number of devices to support pupils learning from home who may not have access to a device or may have to share. Unfortunately, this allocation of devices may not be sufficient to support all families who request a device, but we will provide as many as possible to support learning from home.
We have already contacted families who do not have any devices and distributed school iPads and notebooks to families who have to share a device. If you require a device and we have not been in touch, please contact the school.
Devices remain the property of the school and all families issued with one will be required to agree to terms and conditions around damage, loss and unacceptable use.
